The Anglia Comedy Co. was born when I, Alex (a lifelong fan of all things stand-up) thought it would be a good (and not stressful at all) idea to put on my own comedy night in my old home town of St Ives, Cambs. 

 

Working in Engineering at the time, it was definitely a shift in direction…  that well-trodden career path from construction to comedy! 

 

Well we completely sold out all 500 tickets that night, put on an all-timer of a show, and never looked back! 

 

What started as a small venture has grown into a friendly team of comedy lovers, delivering more than 100 shows each year across dozens of venues throughout East Anglia, the Midlands, North London & beyond. Along the way, we've worked with some of the UK's biggest names in comedy, including Joe Lycett, Tom Allen, Russell Kane, Alan Davies, Sara Pascoe and many more.
